I’m so happy you’re here — I’m Dasia Vu ◡̈
I’m the boss, the maker, and the owner of slowbrn. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana. I started slowbrn in 2022 as a way to bring light into people’s lives on a wider scale
When I began, I didn’t know anything about running a business. I learned by doing, creating, experimenting, failing, doing endless research, and of course learning from my wins as well. The journey to where I am now hasn’t been linear, but it has absolutely been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life
For me, slowbrn has never been about chasing big profits. From the beginning the question wasn’t how much money I could make, it’s always been how can bring more light into people’s lives. Candles are the perfect way to do that. scent alone is one of the most powerful ways to spark any emotion, bring back memories, or create new ones.
Candles are both literal light and figurative light, and I love that I can create something that brightens someone’s morning, helps them unwind after a long day, or simply makes a space smell good and feel cozy
Everything I create is authentic, intentional, and made with love and light. Every ingredient in my products are carefully chosen and held to the highest standards, and every candle is designed and crafted entirely by me. slowbrn is a one-woman show, I design, pour, pack, ship, and deliver everything myself. I take immense pride in that, because it means every part of what you see, comes directly from me. No shortcuts, no outsourcing, just what feels authentic to me, and only me.
I’m deeply grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received along the way. Running slowbrn has helped me grow as both a creator and an entrepreneur, but the true light of this business isn’t the candles, it’s you guys. Thank you for being here 🕯️🤎
